This website and the DownForEveryone testing tool are run by Kashif and Team. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean DownForEveryone.

To run a test we need the address you enter and the options you choose: countries, device, browser identity, number of test servers and whether to take screenshots.
Each test produces results: the status code, timings, the server IP address each country reached, some response headers and, where available, a screenshot of the page. We save these results and screenshots on this site so they can be reviewed later.
To stop any one person from using up the testing capacity, we keep a count of recent tests linked to a hashed version of your IP address. It is kept for no more than one hour. If you are signed in to this site, the test is linked to your account instead.
Please only test public pages you are allowed to test, and do not put passwords, private tokens or personal data in the addresses you test, because the full address is sent to our testing partners and stored with the results.

When you send a message, we receive your name, email address, the website you mention, the topic you pick and your message. We use them only to read and answer your message.
Messages are delivered to our email inbox and a copy is stored in this website’s database. We ask for your agreement to this with the checkbox on the form.
The tool remembers your last address, selected countries, settings and a short list of recent tests in your browser’s local storage, so they are ready next time. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in to this site, WordPress sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in.
The site’s fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers and Google receives your IP address. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like any web host, its servers record technical logs of requests, such as IP address, time and page requested, to keep the service running and secure.
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to how we use it. Send your request through the contact page and we will reply by email.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Test records are only visible to site administrators. Saved screenshots are stored at long, random addresses that are not listed anywhere, but anyone who has the exact address can open one.
This site is a tool for people who build and run websites. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. This version was last updated on 27 September 2026.
